To be the trusted leader in non-destructive testing and visual inspection services across Western Canada’s oil and gas industry, delivering precise, reliable, and compliant assessments that enhance asset integrity, prevent failures, protect people and the environment, and support safe, sustainable energy operations for generations to come.

We envision a future where every inspection we perform contributes to zero incidents, extended asset life, and unwavering confidence in the infrastructure that powers communities and economies.

Our Core Values

Our values guide every decision, inspection, and interaction. They reflect our commitment to excellence in NDT and API visual inspections.

Industry-specific non-destructive testing techniques designed for petroleum infrastructure integrity assessment.

Integrity First

We conduct ourselves with uncompromising honesty, transparency, and ethical standards. Our reports and findings are accurate, unbiased, and grounded in objective evidence—always adhering to API codes, industry best practices, and the highest professional principles.

Safety Above All

The well-being of our people, clients, communities, and the environment is non-negotiable. We prioritize hazard identification, rigorous safety protocols, and stop-work authority in every field assignment, aligning with Alberta OHS, Energy Safety Canada, and client-specific requirements.

Technical Excellence & Precision

We pursue mastery in visual inspection techniques and complementary NDT methods, staying current with API standards (e.g., API 570 for piping, API 510 for vessels, API 653 for tanks, and RP 577 for welding). Our inspectors deliver thorough, documented assessments that detect issues early and support informed decision-making.

Client Partnership & Reliability

We build long-term relationships by listening, communicating clearly, responding promptly, and exceeding expectations. Our goal is to be the dependable partner clients turn to for critical inspections in remote, high-risk, and regulated environments.

Continuous Improvement & Accountability

We embrace learning, innovation, and feedback to refine our processes, training, and technology. Every team member takes ownership of quality, compliance, and outcomes—holding ourselves accountable to the standards we uphold for others.

Our Code of Conduct

This Code applies to all employees, contractors, subcontractors, and representatives of A.R.C Inspection Services LTD. It ensures we maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior while performing NDT and API visual inspections in the oil and gas sector.

Compliance with Laws and Standards

We fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations (including Alberta OHS Act, AER directives), and industry codes (API, ASME, CSA, Energy Safety Canada). We only perform work for which we are qualified, certified, and competent.

Professionalism and Objectivity

Inspections are conducted impartially, free from influence or bias. We report findings honestly and completely—no falsification, omission, or alteration of data. Visual inspections follow established protocols (e.g., adequate lighting, viewing angles, documentation with photos/reports) per relevant API RPs and codes.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

We safeguard client information, inspection data, proprietary details, and project specifics. Disclosure occurs only as required by law, contract, or with explicit consent.

Conflicts of Interest

We avoid situations where personal interests could compromise objectivity. Gifts, favors, or relationships that could appear to influence judgment are prohibited or must be disclosed and managed.

Safety and Ethical Reporting

We exercise Stop Work Authority without hesitation if unsafe conditions arise. Hazards, near-misses, incidents, or ethical concerns are reported immediately through proper channels—no retaliation for raising issues.

Fair Treatment and Respect

We foster a workplace free from harassment, discrimination, or intimidation. We treat colleagues, clients, regulators, and community members with respect and professionalism.

Anti-Corruption and Fair Business Practices

We prohibit bribery, kickbacks, or improper payments. All business dealings are transparent and compliant with anti-corruption laws.

Training and Competency

Team members maintain current certifications (e.g., API 570/510/653 Inspector, CGSB/ASNT NDT Levels, H₂S Alive, fall protection) and participate in ongoing training to ensure competence in visual and advanced inspection methods.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and potential legal consequences. We encourage reporting of suspected breaches confidentially to management or our designated ethics contact.
