This Code applies to all employees, contractors, subcontractors, and representatives of A.R.C Inspection Services LTD. It ensures we maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior while performing NDT and API visual inspections in the oil and gas sector.
We fully comply with all applicable laws, regulations (including Alberta OHS Act, AER directives), and industry codes (API, ASME, CSA, Energy Safety Canada). We only perform work for which we are qualified, certified, and competent.
Inspections are conducted impartially, free from influence or bias. We report findings honestly and completely—no falsification, omission, or alteration of data. Visual inspections follow established protocols (e.g., adequate lighting, viewing angles, documentation with photos/reports) per relevant API RPs and codes.
We safeguard client information, inspection data, proprietary details, and project specifics. Disclosure occurs only as required by law, contract, or with explicit consent.
We avoid situations where personal interests could compromise objectivity. Gifts, favors, or relationships that could appear to influence judgment are prohibited or must be disclosed and managed.
We exercise Stop Work Authority without hesitation if unsafe conditions arise. Hazards, near-misses, incidents, or ethical concerns are reported immediately through proper channels—no retaliation for raising issues.
We foster a workplace free from harassment, discrimination, or intimidation. We treat colleagues, clients, regulators, and community members with respect and professionalism.
We prohibit bribery, kickbacks, or improper payments. All business dealings are transparent and compliant with anti-corruption laws.
Team members maintain current certifications (e.g., API 570/510/653 Inspector, CGSB/ASNT NDT Levels, H₂S Alive, fall protection) and participate in ongoing training to ensure competence in visual and advanced inspection methods.
Violations of this Code may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, and potential legal consequences. We encourage reporting of suspected breaches confidentially to management or our designated ethics contact.
